GFS Eskimo Jo x Camarao/Hurikan

Buckskin Tobiano

Reg: Anglo European Studbook

To make 16.3hh+

£8500

This yearling filly is as eye catching as she is athletic. She has a lot of presence for a yearling and with her lovely colour and unusual markings, she is quite a picture.

GFS Masquerade has a hugely appealing character, showing an inherent sense of sociability and bold, friendly confidence. She is a pleasure to handle and displays a calm intelligence in situations that assuming that might phase another young horse.

Her breeding is of solid performance bloodlines which will hopefully make her capable of attaining high levels in each of the Olympic disciplines. Her ancestry represents an ideal amalgamation of big, supple movement, scope over a fence, great attitude, top temperament and a high level of both trainability and rideability.

By GFS Lord of the Dance, our young AES Graded stallion who is of superb Russian Trakehner, Akhal Teke and thoroughbred breeding; He has some rare and highly sought after Russian performance bloodlines hailing from the famed Dovotar Stud and an ancestry that had represented all of the Olympic disciplines.

This filly's brother, GFS Mikado had been retained to stand as a potential future stallion at GFS Sporthorses, but due to a determined buyer, he was sold to the US to represent the GFS breeding program. He has since been Graded and is now in a top show barn where he is being carefully produced by his owners for what is looking likely to be a very exciting SJ career. Her 2019 sister is in Scotland to be produced as an eventer 2020 sister is currently retained.

GFS Masquerade's dam, Charisma is a Westphalian registered mare by the advanced Elite eventing Trakehner stallion Camaro and her dam is a Kinsky warmblood mare and product of a dedicated breeding program initiated by Count Kinsky in developing a horse of enormous versatility and outstanding temperaments.

This breed has excelled over the past century in almost all disciplines with great aplomb but their true purpose and original forte was as steeplechasers extraordinaire. They have as a breed had great success in the 'Devil's Race' the Grand Pardubice in the now Czech Republic.

This filly has been bred will the sole intention of producing a highly competitive eventing prospect. Charisma and GFS Lord of the Dance's foals to date are born gallopers, they are fast and love to jump anything in their path, they move with exceptional style and expression and demonstrated enormous bravery and calm natures with friendly outlooks and who demonstrate a high level of intelligence and an excellent aptitude to learn rapidly and willingly.

Masquerade's grandsire Camaro is one of only two Elite coloured Trakehner stallions. Twice he has been a Young Horse Championship qualifier for the German Bundeschampionate. He is both an advanced eventer and show jumper. His sire, Le Duc was Reserve Champion winner at his performance test with unprecedented scores of 10 for character, efficiency of movement and trot. He scored a 9 in all other categories. A Grand Prix dressage stallion with a performance index of 146, his dam was a consistent producer of Performance Test winners.

Her G.Grandsire, Anduc, a son of number one Trakehner stallion in the World, Marduc was another Elite stallion renowned for producing progeny of outstanding temperament and rideability.

This filly had very much been been intended as a 'keeper' but an almost complete reduction of our youngstock means that somebody is going to get very lucky this year with some absolutely outstanding young horses, including this super girl.

His dam was a thoroughbred x Hanoverian of exceptional beauty, golden nature and excellent breeding.

She has the gallop of a born eventer and is going to be physically very capable of producing a good dressage test as well as having every indication of a huge jump.

GFS Hi Jinx (2017)

Colourthyme Kajika x Folly's Rock

(Rock King/Bohemond)

Reg: Anglo European Studbook

16.2HH

https://sporthorse-data.com/pedigree/high-jinks-1

A  full sister to GFS Fire and Ice.  She is absolutely everything we could have wished for when planning her breeding; tall, a big powerful mover who just loves to jump and can barely keep her feet on the ground. She of course has the very beautiful head of both her brother and sire (Colourthyme Kajika) as well as their wonderful personalities and incredible temperaments.

She moves with great purpose and style, her absolute presence and physical capabilities being obvious from the first stride.  She has a great deal of speed and built to sail over jumps.

Jinx is powerfully built and would easily carry weight if necessary. She is very light on her feet and a really dynamic young horse. She uses her body with every step and in every pace and at full tilt she barely touches the ground. Her movement is big and showy without looking unnatural and her attitude is pure gold.

Had it not been for the uncertainty that Covid has brought to our lives, Jinx would have been started under saddle last year and aimed at BYEH classes, instead we put her in foal as the plan was that she would be staying here ad infinitum.

The decision to put Jinx in foal was not made lightly.  It had nor been our intention to use her as a broodmare until much later in her life.  However with the world upside down and having just lost her beloved dam to a horrendous accident, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give her a little more time to mature mentally and physically before a ridden career.

Jinx foaled easily and was the most incredible mother.  Her foal is sensational and everything we could have hoped for with the same irrepressible energy, enthusiasm and love of life.  She too moves as though dancing and showing the same natural desire to jump.

A little bit about her breeding...

Her sire Colourthyme Kajika was one of our foundation stallions, his foals are easily recognisable by their strong, compact physiques, strong backs, powerful build and stunning heads. Their temperaments have always been simply amazing; highly people oriented, genuine and incredibly willing under saddle.

Kajika's foals have an extraordinary bond with people from the start, quick to learn, eager to please and very gentle. Highly sociable and with a great natures, these special individuals stand with such pride and presence. Their movement is extravagant, floating and rhythmic and to date, once in their new homes...they are there for life!

These are the ultimate high end amateur horses, family friends or superb all rounders with style, pizazz, huge potential and huge characters!

Kajika is bred from both rare and sought after bloodlines. His sire line are from exceptional Danish Knabstrupper ancestry with TB bloodlines tracing back to the legendary racehorse, Eclipse! and his dam lines are of the the multi talented and highly versatile all round Czech Kinsky Warmblood, carrying the highly prized Trakehner blood tracing directly back through Pythagoras/Dampfross and to the Godolphin Arabian and Bryerly Turk. these are two of the three Arabian Stallions responsible for the thoroughbred horse.

GFS Firefly *

GFS Fire and Ice x Athena

26th April 2020

Buckskin

To make 16.1hh approx

https://sporthorse-data.com/pedigree/gfs-firefly

SOLD

This glorious yearling filly is  a granddaughter of our beloved Folly's Rock, one of our precious foundation mares and  dam of GFS Fire and Ice.

Firely was so called as this golden girl has inherited the spectacular 'metallic coat' of both her dam and sire, a particular coat type that is typically only found in either the Akhal Teke and Czech Kinsky warmblood.

As expected from this breeding, GFS Firefly is an absolutely sensational looker  and enormously athletic; displaying superb balance, a huge trot and blindingly fast gallop, she is one of those horses that simply appears to  float with each and every step, she is incredibly elegant and looks to be a born eventing prospect!

Firefly has a wonderful nature with plenty of character and a lovely attitude.

She has her dams friendly character and inquisitive nature that makes her determined to be a part of  whatever is going on whether it concerns her or not!

She is calm, bold and every inch a real peoples horse who will bond with her owner and offer a lifetime of friendship and fun under saddle.  A true partner who will give as much as she receives and become a true heart horse.

Her sire is GFS Fire and Ice who is a wonderful amalgamation of the exotic Kinsky warmblood, Danish Knabstrupper and thoroughbred with a pinch of the magical Irish Connemara for the perfect all rounder with both talent and temperament.

Her dam Pepper herself is out of a Graded and very rare pure bred Kinsky warmblood mare. The Kinsky's are renowned for their great natures and ability to turn a hoof to virtually any discipline. Throughout their history this is a breed who has excelled in all sport from Steeplechasing (this was a breed that dominated the famed Grand Pardubice ('the Devils race' in the now Czech Republic. This was a death defying race notorious for its vast obstacles and stamina sapping ploughed fields. The Kinsky horse's versatility has seen them compete with great success in the fields of showjumping, dressage, endurance, carriage driving and eventing. They are the ultimate all rounder. In addition to their famed versatility, huge hearts and talent under saddle, these rare horses have coats that positively shimmer with an ethereal looking 'metallic' sheen to them.  This is thought to come from an infusion of the Akhal Teke and Russian Budyonny bloodlines thought to be  used developing the breed. Pepper has this incredible sheen and this is the first of her foal that has inherited it. Pepper has a fantastic nature and I have no doubt if we had ever put her under saddle she would have proven equally as impressive in her multitude of talents as her ancestors. However as a very accident prone young horse and one who arrived with us as a foal in a very bad way, she has become a very special member of the family, with her gentle and generous disposition and producing beautiful foals with her glorious nature and instantly adored by all who meet her.

This is a very tall and particularly beautiful buckskin filly by GFS Fire and Ice. She is a calm, gentle, friendly filly with the kindest eye and absolutely breath taking movement which she has clearly inherited from her sire as her gorgeous dam although very impressive in her huge striding paces certainly does not move with such poetry in motion.

This filly has superb manners and is very willing to learn as she loves human company and being involved with everything from the mucking out of her stable to just about anything that is going on around her.  She is well behaved with the farrier, easy to handle in every situation and does not need to be caught; she will catch you!

GFS Rhapsody is probably going to be much like her dam Deihaiwejo ('Inca's') other progeny who have been slow to grow and late maturing which when they get there, is well worth the wait! Her foals have all grown to be stunning looking horses with highly trainable attitudes and kind, loving temperaments with a lot of talent. All have attained a height at maturity of 17hh

Deihaiwejo is by Al Pacino W - An outstanding International Grand Pix show jumper and son of the amazing “phenomenon” Andiamo by Animo- Almé).

Her dam lines are equally impressive with her dam sire, Aiglon Rouge a son of two of the most incredible jumpers and producers of simply incredible offspring. Narcos II and the legendary mare, Dirka - dam of Quidam de Revel, Paprika de Revel, Vallon Rouge to name just a few!

This mare, in addition to her incredible ancestry of high achieving and historically important bloodlines. She has the most wonderful character and sensible nature which she consistently passes on to her offspring. A mare of impeccable breeding, huge athleticism, movement who was bred to excel as a jumper in her own right but fate and injury has prevented this.

Al Pacino W was bred from the beautiful blood mare SATAJAVERTE (by JulioMarinier xx)

Al Pacino W showed his superb qualities during his performance tests: he was NRPS approved, and fulfilled all requirements KWPN Approval.

Andiamo Z her G.sire jumped to Grand Prix level.

His sire, Animo competed consistently among the best in World Cup and grand Prix competitions in the 90's. He jumped in the Olympic Final in 1992, and was placed in 48 World Cups and Grand Prix. As a breeding stallion, Animo boasts sons approved in numerous studbooks globally.

Deihaiwejo's dam Oilano was a GP showjumper sired by Aiglon Rouge. a Selle Francais stallion of impeccable high performance bloodlines. Standing in Belgium this highly sought after sire of top jumping progeny is by Narcos II and out of the truly remarkable mare of world wide renown, Dirka.

Half brother to Quidam de Revel and Paprioka de Revel to name only a few of the outstanding offspring of Dirka.

Narcos was chosen to compete in the Seoul Olympics and has been a regular competitor in international competitions from Calgary to Hickstead. In 1991 he won the European Young Riders Championship. Has won numerous puissance classes which included a record jump of 2.25 metres.

This is one of the most sought after stallions in France where his offspring are now now jumping internationally. He is half brother to Quat'Sous and Vercors IV and one of his sons' is Hinault.

Aiglon Rouge's dam Dirka, despite being only 163 cms, won at international level with Nelson Pessoa, before being given to Xavier Leredde who made his junior international debut on her.

Returned to her breeder, Prince Amaury de Broglie, Dirka was bred to Sans Souci, to produce two international competitors, Orka and Paprika de Revel, then with Jalisco B she produced Quidam de Revel and the broodmares, Razzia and Sarah de Revel. With Jalisco’s half brother, Kisosovo, she produced CSO winner, Vallon Rouge, and with Narcos, Aiglon Rouge, a star in Holland. With Quat’sous, she produced Byra Rouge, and with Papillon Rouge, Dirka de Revel. What a mare!

Oilano's dam sire Enrico is a high performance International showjumper of pure Anglo Arab Breeding. He is descended from Fast, Vadrague and Pancho, sires of numerous International Eventers, Show Jumpers and Grand Prix Dressage progeny.

GFS Alaska

GFS Alaska is by GFS Eskimo Jo (Paddy of Liosin x Corrado I/Landgraf) and out of GFS Pandora (GFS Fire and Ice x Crown's Ace of Pearl). I own or have owned nine of her relatives including her great grandmothers (one of which is still with us) and her great grandfather! I bred both her dam and sire, as well as her maternal G.sire. I know these bloodlines so well and Alaska is going to be a culmination of years of careful breeding.

GFS Alaska has some serious show jumping and eventing blood and I am very hopeful that she will mature into a young horse who will realise the potential of her pedigree and early promise. Time will tell...

Alaska is expected to attain a height at maturity of 17hh at the very least. She has the most incredibly easy going and sociable character, beings both personable and eager to cooperate in any way requested of her.

This filly moves beautifully she is active, supple and balanced with a wonderfully loose, swinging trot which is naturally elevated in its expression. Her canter is uphill, balanced and she really engages her hindquarters. This is a really special filly with superb attributes, faultless temperament and a kind, intelligent outlook.

I have no 100% made a decision on where her future lies, but she is certainly going to be a treasure for whoever is lucky enough to own her.

This impressive smoky black colt is likely to be the last we have from the legendary mare Wantasia. 'Shadow' as she is known here is a stunning looking KWPN mare with the most incredible jumping pedigree and has been one of the most reliable producers of simply exceptional foals for us.

This Indoctro sired mare is out of a Corland/Nimmerdor Keur awarded KWPN mare, Santasia.

She was retired at the young age of six due to a paddock accident and before her potential could be realised, this beautiful, graceful mare with her powerful, rhythmic, athletic movement, phenomenal jump and faultless temperament has consistently produced foals of exceptional quality and with all of the characteristics that make her so special to us and such a valuable broodmare.

Her bloodlines speak for themselves! On her dams side, her Grandsire is the amazing Keur Preferent stallion, Indoctro, showjumper and progenitor of highly regarded offspring competing in all three major disciplines, but the sire of over 180 competitive showjumpers. Wantasia's dam is by Corland ( son of the inimitable Cor de la Bryere) out of the showjumping International and important sire of champions, Nimmerdor.

The sire of this impressive, big moving and highly athletic colt is GFS Fire and Ice. This has been a match made in heaven previously with four foals born of this breeding; GFS Theodora, a hugely talented filly now in Scotland and soon to be started under saddle, GFS Mister Bojangles who is now with Erica and Ibble Watson and soon to start a potentially very exciting eventing career, the stunning and very unique GFS Wildstyle Graffiti who is now in the US and now this amazing boy.

GFS Fire and Ice brings some superb eventing bloodlines to this colts pedigree and a superb temperament. I would envisage that this lovely young colt will make an exciting prospect in any of the three Olympic disciplines with the type of wonderful temperament that will ensure that anyone fortunate enough to be working with him will potentially build a remarkable relationship.  He is a kind colt with a kind, clever attitude and aptitude for learning and remaining relaxed, whatever is asked.  He moves beautifully and has a wonderful big, balanced and expressive canter as well as a lovely elastic trot and a very zippy gallop!

7th May 2022

This absolutely stunning looking colt is a perfect example of the quality and class with which GFS Fire and Ice 'stamps' all of his foals.

To make 16.2hh+, GFS Stromboli is a truly golden palomino who even through the winter months has maintained a deep, dark colour.  He is incredibly beautiful and a real eye catcher.  He is a wonderful character to work with; quick to learn, full of fun and genuine.

Stromboli has been very much bred with eventing in mind and he is certainly giving every indication that he is not going to disappoint.  He is fleet of foot, balanced and bold with big expressive paces and a lovely suppleness in his way of going.  He has some very impressive breeding in terms of eventing performance bloodlines with both the legendary Rock King and Bohemond in his sires immediate pedigree and the late, great Shaab and Ameriggo Vespucci in that of his dam.  It would be a dream to see him out competing in all his glory.

This colts dam is a simply stunning Hanoverian mare is bred in the purple and had been competed as a youngster in all three disciplines with enormous promise with some excellent results prior to succumbing to a serious injury that saw her career change to that of a broodmare. Her temperament and character are impeccable and she has been lightly ridden whilst with us demonstrating superb manners and willingness whatever was asked of her.

She is a kind, gentle and graceful mare who produces foals of exceptional quality and promise. She already has offspring competing BS and another shortly set to debut BE.

She is by Amerigo Vespucci, a 100 day performance tested Hanoverian, Group 1 British Warmblood stallion who was a proven Showjumper and competitive dressage horse and sire of progeny competing in all three of the Olympic disciplines. His impressive pedigree lists Celle State Stud Stallion Airport and Argentan, one of the most influential stallions in showjumping and G.Sire of Arko, Adlantus an Anka.

Her dam sire Shaab ran a total of 41 times, winning 8 of his races and being placed 9 times. His progeny are renowned for their exceptional temperaments and many proven as top class eventers.

This ethereal looking young colt is a very beautiful young horse who abounds with quality and will be here to meet and appreciate for two weeks more as a colt. Following that he has a date with the vet and will be viewable following that as a very stylish, impressive gelding with a huge amount of talent and a very exciting young eventing prospect.

Migaloo is by GFS Lord of the Dance and as such carries a significant amount of the desirable 'hot blood' breeding. His sire is a rare and desirable melding of Russian Trakehner, Akhal Teke and TB, whilst his dam is 50% TB and 50% Danish WB with some superb jumping credentials.

He is quite good enough to be considered a stallion prospect regardless of the colour of his coat. He moves with elevation, expression and demonstrates both strength and speed.

As an entire or as a gelding, this lovely boy should be of interest to anyone serious about producing a youngster up and through the levels with success on their mind!

To make 16.3hh at least and quite possibly more!

This colt is spectacular in every way whether you care for double dilutes or not!

Once in a while a breeder can look at a foal almost before they make their first hesitant steps and feel a moment of absolute electric elation because some foals just make you catch your breath and make dreams a reality. This colt was greeted into the world with stunned, silent elation and he has not yet ceased to amaze and delight every day since with his super character, kind nature and his explosive and impressive demonstration of powerful, expressive and natural agility in each gait.

He is going to be very tall, perfectly proportioned with a beautiful head and strong correct conformation. His self carriage is phenomenal and being naturally uphill and forward in the way he moves, he is incredibly expressive in the way he moves being both balanced and blessed with explosive impulsion.  Bred to event, I think this colt would present as an excellent choice to produce for this discipline, however he would be equally suited for a career in dressage of show jumping.

He has a calm, bold character and a charming, friendly attitude.

He is by GFS Lord of the Dance, it was a repeat breeding as we had been so excited and thrilled by his full sister last year who went on to be sold to a home for a future of eventing at the higher levels.

His dam, 'Whisper' as we call her is a very athletic mare with high intelligence and sensitivity but a kind nature. I have owned her from a foal and she has matured into a kind, gentle horse with a phenomenal gallop. A big elegant mover, she always throws correct and impressive foals who to date have all moved with huge expression, elasticity, speed and matured at the 17hh mark. They are friendly and bold characters and have all been exceptionally beautiful with enormous potential.

Whisper is by Crown's Ace of Pearl a very talented allrounder of great talent and temperament with a great record showjumping, eventing and in the dressage arena. His sire jumped to GP SJ and from the renowned Crown stud in Denmark who have had enormous success over many years in breeding and producing horses of great versatility in sport with high trainability and exceptional nature.

Whisper is 50% TB being out of a Hubbly Bubbly sired dam and I would consider her foals bred to event. The pairing with GFS Lord of the Dance will ensure a high % of blood ensuring that there is no loss of the gallop, stamina and speed.

GFS Lord of the Dance always throws youngsters with wonderful big paces showing no lack of the type of expression and style that would make anyone look twice! His breeding is a rare amalgamation of Russian Trakhener, Akhal Teke and thoroughbred and he is a proven improver of mares having sired numerous offspring who although still young have found themselves in many professional homes and due shortly to start emerging under saddle and in competition.

Both details of his sire and Grandsire can be found on their own pages.

May 2022

GFS Sirocco

This young horse has enormous presence, elegance and super conformation with all the obvious attributes of a real athlete. He has a highly attractive head and moves with grace, power and purpose. His movement is naturally uphill and his big, expressive paces cover the ground with speed and style.

His dam is by the Grand Prix dressage stallion Treliver Decanter and out of an Elite Graded SH(GB) mare by the Saddlers Wells bred stallion Accondy. Her dam sire is World Cup, the GP dressage stallion and sire of many top dressage horses.

Sahara is an athletic, well built mare I believed, this breeding has benefitted from the infusion of body and power that 'Mojo' has brought to the party with his strong show jumping pedigree and the strong powerful gracefulness of the thoroughbred infusion.

I always try to breed as ever a horse that would be capable of any job but who would show real talent as an eventer in time.

This colt looks to have the balance and natural elasticity of of an athlete capable of making as much as a mark in the show jumping ring as the dressage arena and clearly enough power, strength and speed to handle the biggest of cross country tracks too.

Sirocco has a lot of style and a super temperament, he will be a big, strong horse at maturity and has the credentials to be an enormously exciting prospect for an ambitious rider.

This striking gelding is absolutely breathtaking. No photos or video can do him justice; he is tall, well built with superb, powerful conformation and an elegant presence in motion and at rest.  He has some incredibly exciting aspects to his pedigree which includes a solid performance ancestry to Grand Prix in both showjumping and dressage.

This colt would certainly be good enough to run on as a potential stallion and most definitely make a worthy candidate for someone looking for a talented youngster to produce for the higher levels in their chosen discipline.

His temperament is absolutely superb. He is kind, calm and loves attention; a trusting soul who goes above and beyond to try and understand hat is being asked and willingly tries to please in whatever asked of him.  He is a very special foal.

Please look him up on our 2021 Foals Page for additional information, photos and video.

SIRE'S BREEDING

AES Graded stallion GFS Eskimo Jo whose first real crop of foals this year has been very encouraging. His sire whom we also own is currently competing Novice level BE with both the scope and talent to progress once the season recommences! His dam was a Graded Holsteiner by Corrado I out of a Landgraf mare.

Sired by our own young stallion Paddy of Liosin. His bloodlines are predominantly of show jumping providence. His sire is Crown's Ace of Pearl a stallion who has been campaigned extensively as show jumper, dressage and eventer, he is by the ZfdP International GP show jumping stallion, Crown's Blue Pearl. A horse bred from the rare and multi talented Kinsky breeding program and infused with high performance thoroughbred bloodlines. The German stallion A-Dur compliments this impressive jumping providence.

Paddy's dam is by Olympic Lux (Lux Z/Lord Calando/Ahorn Z x Ahorn/Nimmerdor/Vicomte Grandieux), the KWPN stallion and prolific sire of of over 15 show jumpers and 15 eventers, all competing at top level. His sire, Lux Z has made an enormous impact on Holsteiner sports breeding. As well as being an Olympic show jumper he has sired over 60 show jumpers and significant numbers of both eventers and dressage horses.

Mojo's dam, N-She's All, a Head Stud Book and premium graded Holsteiner is 100% jump bred. Her sire, Corrado is yet another Olympian with over 120 show jumping progeny to date. He is considered as the founder of a Holsteiner sire line of his own! In his stallion performance test he scored an unprecedented 10 for both his loose jump and that under saddle.

Corrado is by Cor de la Bryere, a stallion that revolutionised the jumping horses' breeding. He too had an incredible impact in Holsteiner and he occurs in more than 80% of the top performance pedigrees as well as being credited with improving the breed's jumping technique. His sire Rantzau was from 1971-1973 the leading sire of dressage horses, show jumpers and event horses in France. He is regarded as the best thoroughbred stallion who ever entered the French sport horse breeding industry.

Corrado's dam, Soleil was a Nations Cup eventer and was herself by the extraordinary jumper, Capitol I, a stallion known to have 'put wings' on a legion of offspring. It is thanks to his influence that the Cottage Son xx line became one of the most influential thoroughbred infusions in Holstein breeding.

Holsatia IX, 'Mojo's' dams dam, was by the show jumping Olympian/World Championship stallion Landgraf I. Labeled by many as the 'stallion of the Century'. Immortalised in bronze at Elmshorn where he stands as the symbol of the modern Holsteiner Sport Horse. Her dam, Wicke III was by Caletto II (a son of Cor de a Bryere).

The evident potential in 'Mojo's bloodlines and the legendary ancestry that graces this stunning young horses pedigree indicates true potential on paper and his Grading results when presented to the Anglo European Studbook certainly seem to add gravitas to this.

GFS Bodacious

GFS Bodacious; An absolutely breathtakingly beautiful foal when born and through the summer of 2021; he has rather gone to the dogs in adolescence! I have no doubt whatsoever that as Spring awakens all else to blossom under the warmth of the sun and we rejoice in new beginnings once more, Bodacious too will cast off his drab, moth eaten winter coat and that stunning young man will once again blind us with his beauty and shimmering golden coat!

He is by GFS Lord of the Dance who as ever has gifted his marvellous ability to extend, collect and express himself like a dancer to yet another of his offspring. His dam was a Grade Head Stud Book KWPN mare by San Remo.

Bodacious has a gallop like a rocket and he does love to come first in all games and races with his friends! His trot is quite sublime and his elasticity and propulsion with an ability to cover ground with barely a foot making contact with the ground is really a pleasure to watch.

This colt will make in the region of 16.2hh and is going to mature into a really impressive stamp with an genuinely delightful nature. He is a joy to handle, he loves to learn and he is incredibly good at listening and putting his trust in his handler even when a little worried. He is a naturally calm character with a joyful attitude and so much athletic potential. He is going to be a pleasure in all ways and have an abundance of ability in whichever discipline he is directed at and a lot of fun too.

The dam of GFS Bodacious is ZB Neforia, a refined, elegant and feminine mare of great beauty and faultless temperament. She is Graded in to the KWPN as Ster Preferent. Retired from a dressage career due to her inability to settle at competitions. She had been purchased at the Brightwells Star of the Future sales.

This lovely looking mare is the product of some very prolific bloodlines. Her sire, San Remo (Wolkentanz/Weltmeyer/Volturno) was successfully campaigned by Edward Gal. He is a stallion whose female progeny number more than seven Ster Preferent.

Neforia's dam is an Elite GP dressage mare by Haarlem (Voltaire/Legaat). Haarlem is the son of successful stallion. Voltaire jumped internationally under Jos Lansink and Emile Hendrix. His reputation has grown through siring international offspring of great jumping and dressage talents.

GFS Bodacious is sired by our own GFS Lord of the Dance. This super young stallion is unique in that his breeding is not replicated in the typical European Dilute warmblood horse. There is none of the usual Kinsky breeding, none of the commonly seen Polish Warmblood breeding and none of the popular but often overused dilute German bloodlines used so extensively to produce dilute warmbloods.

His breeding is as unusual as it is exciting. His sire Destello is born of rare and sought after Russian Trakehner and Akhal Teke performance breeding of incredible quality; bloodlines specifically developed to produce offspring with exceptional temperament, excellent movement, stamina, heart and the agility of a cat. These horses were bred to be tough, brave and to have the ability to tackle the toughest job asked of them with style and good grace.

His sire, the young AES Graded cremello stallion, GFS Lord of the Dance is 'stamping' his offspring to date. Tall, well built with a powerful, compact frame, long legs and extremely attractive head set well on an elegant neck of good length. Equally exciting is the bold, calm and easy going charm they inherit from this beautiful young stallion whose gentle, unflappable nature makes him such a joy to deal with.L'ord of the Dance is a home bred young stallion whose sire we owned and stood with great success until the time of his untimely passing.

Destello was imported by myself as a yearling from his breeder in Estonia. His breeding was rare and highly sought Russian Trakehner x Akhal Teke with superb breeding and illustrious competition ancestry on both sides of his pedigree. Sadly injured as a two year old, he was unable to commence his much anticipated career under saddle and out eventing. There is however little doubt that had he had the opportunity his unbelievable athleticism, raw speed, power and endurance coupled with his incredible brave nature would have made him a formidable force in competition.

Dar, Destello's sire is by the International Grand Prix and Elite stallion Ashkhabad and his dam Dolina was a show jumping International.

The Russian Trakehner is rarely seen outside of Russia. This aristocratic and jealously guarded product of highly selective breeding has proven results throughout Eastern Europe as exceptionally talented performers in each of the three major discipline

Aschachabad, Dars sire was an outstanding Russian Trakehner stallion by anyones standards. Bred at the famous Dovatar Stud, he was the winner of Young Stallion of the year held amongst all Belorussian Trakehners. He scored an unprecedented 10 for his jumping ability. However, it was as a dressage horse that Aschchabad was to make his name. He was eventually sold to Germany for dressage.
