GFS Pandora

GFS Fire and Ice x Crown's Ace of Pearl/Hubbly Bubbly

Double Dilute Spotted three year old filly

To make 16.3hh Approx

This filly is an incredibly rare double dilute warmblood who also carries the Lp gene responsible for producing offspring both dilute, double dilute and a 50% chance of spotted offspring too!

Pandora would be equally impressive were she simply bay or chestnut. She is tall, leggy and as beautiful as you can get with her finely chiselled head, lovely length of neck and correct, athletic conformation. This lovely young horse is elegance personified and not only does she impress with her expressive balance and paces, she is also one of the kindest, most eager to please young horses with a remarkable attitude.

She is going to be tall and I would estimate at approx 16.3hh+ as she is already standing at 16.1hh.

A beautifully proportioned young horse with natural grace, a willing, gentle nature and without a doubt has potential as a competitor in any of the three Olympic disciplines as well as a potential broodmare with a family tree of proven performance bloodlines. These are predominantly of eventing providence with a healthy infusion of both dressage and pure showjumping talent.

She is sensible, highly trainable and easy to handle in all situations.

She would make a superb broodmare with value in her type, breeding, gentle nature and unique colour genetics as an additional bonus.

A little about her breeding

Pandora's Sires lines

By GFS Fire and Ice our own young AES Graded stallion. His sire Colourthyme Kajika who stood with us for many years is a rare breed knabstrupper x Kinsky warmblood . There is a page describing his ancestry on this website.

Fire and Ice's dam,  is by the leading sire of event horses Rock King. Himself the sire of the Olympic eventer Rock Model. He also sired four competitors at the 2008 CCI **** at Luhmuhlen.

Rock King was renowned for his fantastic temperament, excellent paces and superb jumping technique. As a four year old Rock King won the Stoneways Potential Showjumper and was in the final twelve for the Young Event Horse Class. From there his career sky rocketed. Sadly, his career was tragically cut short whilst competing at Tweeseldown Horse Trials in 2000 where he sustained a fatal injury. He was at that time already Advanced, accruing over 200 BE points during his short career which would otherwise undoubtedly have seen him feature in many major horse trials.

He was sired by, Just a Monarch. A stallion that has produced many superb competition stock over the years. Many of his proven progeny including the International Event Horses, Kings Jester, Just an Ace and Midnight Monarch, as well as point-to-pointer Mark Methane who has won over 30 races.

Her damsire is none other than the legendary Bohemond, producer of eventers extraordinaire including this years

His dam is by the Danish Warmblood Crown's Ace of Pearl who is a stallion who has acquitted himself as a true athlete as a showjumper, in the dressage arena and eventing.

His sire Crown's Blue Pearl, following in his own illustrious sires footsteps was not only the Gold Medal Stallion of the Year in 2007 but also a GP showjumping International.

This stunning filly's dams line is sired by the precocious and celebrated TB stallion Hubbly Bubbly, sired by and with a double cross to Mr Prospector.

This ancestry is directly linked to the inimitable Secretariat
